In a forum like this, spam is the largest problem we have. At some point you will probably see a post that is offensive, and we will delete it as quickly as humanly possible. Please remember that we have a life outside the board and can't be here 24/7.We want you to have the best and most enjoyable experiences while you are in the Family forum. To help you accomplish this, there are a few guidelines you might like to follow:

1) You may go into your profile and change your email if you like. I personally have a 'fake' email set up through hotmail that I posted here. That way, should any spambot invade our forum, your fake email address will only be hit with spam and not your personal email address. You can go in once a week or so, and delete any junk mail that goes to your 'fake' email address.

2) NEVER give your permanent email address out to people who you do not know. We make every effort to keep the forum membership to those who have ties to our family and allied lines. Should we ever locate a member who is not a family member or related to a family member, their membership in the forum will be removed.

3) Should you ever receive any type of message that is spam or junk related, or that is offensive in any manner, send a message to the Administrator of this Board (that is JanaW) and in your message copy the offensive message along with the headers of where it came from and send it to us. That will give us the ability to stop this type of thing before it starts!

4) Spam is obvious in it's posts. NEVER open anything that even appears to be a SPAM post. Just ignore it until the Administrator can delete it. If you open it and click on any of the links, you are opening yourself up to problems....and you are doing it at your own risk!!!!
